Mercedes Salazar founded her brand in Bogotá in 2001, and her pieces have been part of my life since I was a teenager. A true pioneer of Latin American design, she builds every collection on Colombian craft traditions, working with an in-house atelier, which I've had the privilege to visit, and close to 200 women artisans nationwide.
