Panic at the Disco Pañuelo

Texas-based artist and surface designer Mercedez Rex brings a background in photography and textile design to the centuries-old art of water marbling. Each piece captures a fleeting moment of color in motion, hand-stilled on silk, leather, or paper. Since launching her namesake line in 2016, she has collaborated with fashion and interiors brands and created custom commissions for homes and commercial spaces.

About the Panic at the Disco design, in her own words: "This pattern was overlooked for years. A "ghost print" made by capturing the remaining paint on the surface of the marbling tray after the original print was pulled."
